What are your top tips when planning a stress-free wedding?
At Baddow Park House we work tirelessly to find the best, award winning suppliers. We carefully hand-select those that share our vision of efficiency, creativity, and impeccable service. From the moment you arrive it will become clear that we are all passionate about creating unforgettable bespoke weddings in Essex. For our couples, they can be sure that our preferred wedding suppliers have detailed knowledge and experience of the venue itself plus a high level of expertise and reliability. You can be sure they will always deliver consistent, excellent customer service.
With all this expert advice readily available, we have asked a selection of our preferred suppliers to share their top tips for planning a stress-free wedding…
Crumbs To Creations
Crumbs to creations lovingly create delicious, bespoke luxury wedding cakes that will impress your guests as well as tempting handmade wedding favours to enhance your place settings.
Sam prides herself in providing a high level of personal service and attention to detail so that your wedding cake is created to the highest standard, using fine quality ingredients.
If you are unsure of something or you’re struggling to make a decision, ask your suppliers for their advice as you won’t be the first person to ever ask & they want your day to be as good as you do!
Fauxevermore
Adeela is the faux flower expert, founder and soul of Fauxevermore. She specialises in luxury artificial flowers, bringing a fresh perspective to faux floristry. She takes the concept of working with fresh flowers and transfers the techniques and skills to create realistic silk and artificial wedding flowers and event floristry.
Choose traditions that are important to you, don’t feel obliged to have certain things on your day. Remember that the date is ultimately about the 2 of you!
Fox and Braces
With over 80 five star reviews on Google, Fox and Braces testimonials speak for themselves. Providing mobile DJ services and a range of custom-made extras, including a spectacular array of bespoke giant neon signs they are proud to be considered amongst the best wedding entertainment in Essex.
Let things happen naturally. Having the first dance early in order to try and force people into the dance floor is a big no-no. As is announcing or requesting that people get up and dance. Our best advice is to enjoy the experience, let things flow organically and that same relaxed energy will filter through to the guests – it will result in a more enjoyable day.
Party Squared Weddings
Victoria specialises in designing stylish, bright, beautiful and modern weddings and events. One of our outstanding preferred wedding suppliers, she delivers decor and venue styling that is creative and personal with bespoke finishing touches.
If you’re feeling stuck and need ideas, consider hiring a wedding stylist. They can listen to your ideas and cut through the noise, order your Pinterest board and produce a visual look book which you can share with your suppliers, easily communicating your vision.
Rideout Film
A decade of experience, national awards and happy tears have earned Rideout Films the reputation of one of the leading wedding filmmakers in the UK.
When the table decorations are packed away, the dress is on it’s way to the cleaners and the best man’s hangover has finally started to pass, there is only one thing that remains. Your memories. Rideout films are passionate about preserving these whilst telling the story of your day.
Plan ahead… years ahead!
I often receive sheepish emails from apologetic couples enquiring about their wedding day 2 or 3 years in the future. Don’t feel ashamed to plan early! Most photographers and videographers can only take on one wedding per day and once that date is booked, it’s hugely unlikely to become available again in the future. Prioritise the suppliers that are important to you and get them booked up as early as possible to avoid being disappointed when you finally get round to emailing them!
Sophie Oldhamstead Photography
Specialises in beautiful, modern and natural wedding photography in Essex and the surrounding areas. She captures every important moment from the emotional to the hilarious, giving you a truly beautiful & honest account of your day. If you are after a relaxed photographer who can produce beautiful pictures, Sophie is the photographer for you.
do your research for photographers, ask to see full galleries and look for previous client recommendations if you’re unsure whether an offer is too good to be true. Also, trust your suppliers! If you’ve picked the right ones then they will have your back and do everything they can to make your wedding day the best it can possibly be! Relax and enjoy it!
Stock Florist
As the winner of Best British Wedding Florist and Essex Wedding Florist of the year 2019 and 2020, they know a thing or two about creating the most stunning wedding flowers! Flowers add the wow factor to any wedding venue and are the first thing you and your guests will see when they walk into your reception. Your bouquet will be the most important flowers you will ever hold, so they know how perfect they need to be for your big day.
Identify a florist that you can build a good relationship with and who understands your complete vision. Take as many images to share with them. This will help to understand your ideas of style, colour schemes and they can then advise on seasonal availability. It is vital that you are confident that they will have a good working relationship with the venue to ensure your day runs smoothly.
